Jordan Fisher

Hailing from Birmingham, Alabama, Jordan Fisher draws inspiration from artists ranging from Luther Vandross to Metallica while working across singing, songwriting, multiple instruments, acting, and dance. His first stage appearances came via the drama program at Paine Intermediate School and later through Red Mountain Theatre Company, where he also distinguished himself as a gymnast and choreographer.

Television exposure arrived with a 2009 appearance on iCarly, after which he secured recurring parts on The Secret Life of the American Teenager and Liv and Maddie. He starred in and supplied original music for the 2013 television film Teen Beach and its 2015 sequel before taking the role of Doody in Grease Live in 2016.

In parallel, Hollywood Records signed him and released the four-track EP Jordan Fisher in August 2016. Mixing R&B and pop, the project opened at number 18 on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart, while its lead single “All About Us” reached the Top 30 of the Pop Songs chart.

That same year Fisher joined Lin-Manuel Miranda on the Moana soundtrack for the duet “You’re Welcome” and joined the Broadway cast of Hamilton. He exited Hamilton in March 2017, then began appearing with Coco Jones as a spokesperson for Fanta soda; in September he entered the 25th season of Dancing with the Stars as a contestant.
