Olivia Lane blends an upbeat, melody-driven country style with hopeful, motivational themes as a singer and songwriter based in Nashville. Her vibrant fusion of contemporary pop and country, reminiscent of Taylor Swift, also mirrors the way her mid-to-late 2010s singles projected both youthful freshness and seasoned poise. Beginning with the 2017 release “Devil and You” and continuing through “Hey 3AM” in 2019, those tracks cultivated a growing digital audience for her work.

Raised in Houston, Texas, Lane first experienced performance through local theater productions and school choirs, while her mother, a professional vocalist, introduced her to studio environments and played recordings by Linda Ronstadt and Patsy Cline. Motivated from an early age, she took up guitar in her early teens and moved to Los Angeles at sixteen to be closer to the entertainment industry. Songwriting became a serious focus by the close of high school, leading her to study both songwriting and theater at the University of Southern California. Her passion for the discipline and for country music ultimately drew her to Nashville. Once there, she organized writing sessions with local collaborators and completed her first EP, Love Thing, issued in 2014 by Big Spark Music Group. The project featured the lively track “Steal Me Away,” which she wrote with Lee Thomas Miller (Randy Travis, Brad Paisley) and frequent future partner Ilya Toshinsky. She also launched Diva Jam, a traveling showcase spotlighting female artists in Music City, and toured alongside Wynonna, Randy Houser, the Marshall Tucker Band, Frankie Ballard, and others. In 2015 she began tracking her first full-length project at Dark Horse Recording Studios.

Those recordings yielded a self-titled mini-album in 2016. Over the following years she issued one single annually: “Devil and You” in 2017, “You Got Me” in 2018, and “Hey 3AM” in early 2019. Midway through 2019 she released a second EP titled The One.
