Biography
Rachel Goodrich, the Miami Beach-based singer/songwriter, crafts an offbeat style that fuses vaudeville-tinged indie pop with swing-jazz and country-folk elements, a combination she often labels “shake-a-billy.” Playing music from her earliest years, she began composing on guitar before gradually expanding her palette to encompass ukulele, spoons, mandolin, piano, kazoo, banjo and autoharp. The Florida native issued her first album, the self-released Tinker Toy, in 2009.
