Born in San Pedro, California, as Eunique Remble, the West Coast rapper spent portions of his youth in various other cities throughout the Los Angeles area. Influences from Lil Wayne, Kendrick Lamar, and J. Cole prompted him to begin laying down tracks at home while still a teenager. His first studio effort, “Fortnite,” surfaced in 2018, the same year he started issuing material. Listeners quickly registered the disarmingly precise flow that set his style apart from mumble rap. “Ruth’s Chris Freestyle,” a 2020 collaboration with Drakeo the Ruler, preceded the 2021 viral singles “Gordon Ramsay Freestyle” and “Touchable,” the former appearing on his debut mixtape It’s Remble. Released that July on Warner Records, the project reached number two on Billboard’s Heatseekers chart. Remble contributed to G Perico’s “Spazz” and shared “Rocc Climbing” with Lil Yachty; he also appeared on tracks by Lil 9, X4, and Blxst. “Where’s Remble?” arrived in 2023, and in June 2024 he performed at Kendrick Lamar’s The Pop Out concert before dropping “Colors,” which featured stoneda5th and Mozzy. Remble is recognized for sharp punch lines, complex rhymes, and deadpan humor.
