RIIZE

Formed in 2023 by SM Entertainment, the South Korean boy band RIIZE takes its name from a fusion of "rise" and "realize." The lineup brought together Shotaro and Sungchan, who exited NCT, with newcomers Eunseok, Wonbin, Sohee, and Anton. Their opening single album Get a Guitar arrived the same year and immediately claimed the top spot on the Korean Albums Chart while setting a record as the most pre-ordered debut release from any SM artist since 1996, moving more than a million units in its opening week. The launch helped the act build an international audience through bright singles. After unveiling their fan club name "BRIIZE," they staged their initial comeback in October 2023 with the polished track "Talk Saxy." Their first music show triumph arrived via the early-2024 single "Love 119," which was soon followed by the April releases "Siren" and "Impossible." The eight-track debut mini-album RIIZING surfaced in June, presenting upbeat, funk-driven anthems that surpassed one million copies sold and secured the number-two position on the Korean Albums Chart.
