Biography
Emerging onto the Galician music landscape in the early years of the 1980s, Spanish pop/rock band Semen Up drew notice through lyrics focused on sexual themes and a dance-pop approach that numerous comparable acts popularized within the Spanish new wave movement. The outfit's first album, Lo Estas Haciendo Muy Bien, appeared in 1985 and was followed by performances across Spain, Portugal, and Italy. After the 1986 release of Agonía del Narciso, the group issued Vuelve El Hombre, which contained the song "Tu Novia Esta Loca" serving as the title track for a film of the same name. El Gusto Es Mio arrived in 1988. Semen Up ceased activity following the 1989 release of Madurez.
