Biography
Stratejacket emerged from Northern California as a trio whose sound refuses easy categorization within pop-punk. Jackson Roemers handles lead vocals and guitar, Fabian Angel covers bass and vocals, and Nate Mangold sits behind the drums; the three formed the group just as the COVID-19 pandemic began. Confined by lockdown, they devoted themselves to songwriting and rehearsal, surfacing in 2023 with the fiery single “Don’t Start” and a contract on Edgeout Records. That track later anchored the band’s assured, self-titled five-track debut EP, released the following year.
