Studio Bros

Born and raised in Quinta do Mocho, Lisbon, Studio Bros operate as a production duo whose heritage traces to São Tomé and Príncipe. From an early age the pair nurtured a joint fascination with sound, merging African rhythms and electronic textures.

They established Alto Nível Produções in 2007 and generated a body of work that quickly distinguished them locally. Their decisive breakthrough arrived with the 2017 release “Kapiro,” a high-energy cut embraced on dance floors and endorsed by Boddhi Satva, Djeff, and Manoo. The track’s reach prompted a 2018 rebranding from Alto Nível Produções to Studio Bros, a move that crystallized their evolving identity and prepared the ground for wider international reach.

Releases on Kalabana Records, Seres Produções, Enchufada, Offering Recordings, Príncipe Discos, and Warp Records carried their sound across Colombia, Venezuela, Chile, Peru, Mexico, and the Dominican Republic, where their singular intensity found new audiences.
