Sweet California

Based in Madrid, Spain, Sweet California operates as a chart-topping girl group whose formation was driven by vocalists Rocío Cabrera, Sonia Gómez, and Alba Reig, who looked to One Direction for creative direction. Their energetic style and vivid visual presentation propelled the 2013 summer release of debut single "Infatuated" onto Spanish charts. Warner Music issued the effervescent Break of Day in 2014 after Tony Sánchez-Ohlsson—previously behind projects by Auryn and Pastora Soler—handled production duties, and the album reached the top position.

Head for the Stars arrived the following year and occupied the summit of the Spanish charts across three weeks. Cabrera exited during this stretch, prompting the addition of Tamara Nsue, a prior backing vocalist for the group, who assumed front-line duties on the reworked Head for the Stars 2.0 issued in early 2016. Their third studio album, 3, surfaced that December.
