Biography
Tammy Trent, recognized as a gospel singer and songwriter, first drew motivation from her mother’s ongoing appearances as a speaker and performer throughout the Christian community. While still in high school she joined several pop and rock bands, which eventually led to her signing with Sparrow Records in 1999. Her light R&B style comes across as sweet and uplifting. The label’s first project from her, Set You Free, arrived in the middle of 2000. Six years afterward she issued I See Beautiful through September Day, with Stronger appearing in 2008. Outside her recording work, Trent also serves as a speaker and has published multiple books.
