Tayler Buono channels her energies into songwriting and performance with a clear affinity for electronic pop and R&B textures. She entered the world in Virginia in 1993, spent her childhood in Florida, and began formal instruction in voice, dance, and acting near the age of eight at a musical theater academy. While still a teenager she started composing and staging her own material. Her self-titled EP arrived in 2011. One year later she competed on the CW series The Next: Fame Is at Your Doorstep under the guidance of mentor Joe Jonas. Two years after that appearance she claimed the top prize at the Florida GRAMMY showcase, which secured her a slot on the bill for the "GRAMMY Festival at Sea: Women Who Rock." In 2015 she issued her second EP, Unseen, containing the song "Lucky in Love." After settling in Nashville she posted a cover of Justin Bieber’s “Sorry” that quickly circulated online and surpassed five million views. She resurfaced in 2016 with the single “Technically Single,” produced by the Gifted.
