Biography
The Daylights came together in 2004 in Los Angeles, California, as an alternative pop/rock trio distinguished by its lush, bombastic sound. Foundation members Ricky Jackson on bass and guitar and his brother Ran Jackson on guitar and keyboard were soon joined by Danish drummer Svend Lerche, who replaced departing original member Adam Farley after the group had already issued its debut recording, The Shift and Blur EP. With Lerche now in the lineup, the Daylights secured a high-profile touring slot supporting OneRepublic, issued the follow-up EP Sans Radio in 2008, and continued preparations for the release of their first full-length album.
