the JaneDear girls

While each chased her own path as a solo artist, mandolin-playing singer and ace fiddler Susie Brown met vocalist and guitarist Danelle Leverett after a Nashville club performance of Brown’s; the introduction came courtesy of songwriter Kris Bergsnes. The two quickly recognized a deep musical kinship, began co-writing material, and soon formed the country duo the JaneDear girls. Local gigs around Nashville drew industry notice, and with the backing of supporter John Rich the JaneDear girls secured recording, publishing, and management contracts with Warner Music Nashville, Sony/ATV Tree Music Publishing, and Turner Nichols & Associates. Produced by Rich, the duo issued the single “Wildflower” in 2010 and followed it early the next year with their self-titled debut album the JaneDear girls.
