Mallary Hope possesses a powerful, resonant vocal delivery that conveys genuine emotion in songs exploring romance as well as spiritual themes, establishing her presence across country and contemporary Christian music. Born June 21, 1987, in Cohutta, Georgia, she grew up with four siblings under the guidance of her pastor father. From the age of two she was already performing, continuing to sing regularly in her father’s church throughout her early years. At nine she joined her family on a trip to Nashville, where she took the stage at the Nashville Palace and delivered renditions of “Daddy’s Hands” and “Unchained Melody.” Along with her singing she mastered guitar, piano, and flute; at twelve she started a band that, by the conclusion of high school, was performing as many as 150 shows annually.

At seventeen she moved from Georgia to Nashville, Tennessee, to focus on music full-time. She built a solid reputation as a session singer whose voice can be heard on more than five hundred publishing demos. In 2008 MCA Records offered her a contract, and the following August the label issued her debut single “Love Lives On,” quickly followed by an EP of the same name. That EP entered the Country Albums chart at number 57, while the follow-up single “Blossom in the Dust” reached number 48 on the Country Singles chart.

Although Hope stepped away from recording for a period, she stayed active writing material recorded by Faith Hill, Jo Dee Messina, Point of Grace, and Lauren Alaina. She also contributed guest vocals to Darius Rucker’s albums True Believers in 2013 and Southern Style in 2015. In April 2014 she wed Ryan Dokke, and the couple’s first daughter arrived in January 2015, followed by a second in November 2016. Hope signed with Curb Records in 2017 and returned as a Christian artist; her initial single for the label, “Now,” gained traction on CCM charts and received airplay on both satellite and terrestrial Christian stations. That November Curb released the seven-track EP Now.
