Hope Darst

Hope Darst, a Nashville resident working as a singer, songwriter, and worship leader, channeled her first twenty-five years into ambitions of a music career yet opted to honor her beliefs by building a family instead. Those ambitions took shape in 2020 when she issued her first album, Peace Be Still.

After devoting the ten years leading up to 2013 to family life and local church worship duties, Darst launched efforts that year to establish the Belonging Co, a congregation that began in a basement before developing into one of the fastest-growing worship movements across the United States. Serving on the church’s music and songwriting team, she contributed to its opening two worship albums, All the Earth and Awe+Wonder. That work led to a deal with Fair Trade Services, which yielded the 2020 single “Peace Be Still” and the complete album of the same name later in the year.
