Kristian Stanfill

Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, Kristian Stanfill first encountered music and songwriting during his teenage years, picked up the guitar, and started guiding worship services at his local congregation, a role he maintained throughout high school. After earning his college degree in 2002, he took on worship leadership duties at North Point Community Church in Alpharetta, Georgia. By 2005 his involvement with the Passion movement had deepened, leading to contributions on multiple Passion releases such as Everything Glorious (2006), The Best of Passion (So Far) (2007), and God of This City (2008). Drawing strong inspiration from U2’s spiritual dimension, Stanfill assembled his own band and issued the EP Hello along with the full-length Attention in 2009 via Six Steps Records. Two years later, in 2011, Mountains Move came out under the production of Jason Ingram and Rusty Varenkamp.
