Biography
Lindsay McCaul writes songs with a distinctive voice while performing as a contemporary Christian artist. That gift stands out clearly across her first full-length project, the eleven-track If It Leads Me Back, which Reunion Records issued in the first months of 2012 after Jason Ingram and Rusty Varenkamp shaped its sound. Born in Abilene, Texas, she relocated with her family to Florida at the age of nine. Christian music captivated her early, prompting her to start composing original pieces by the time she turned eleven or twelve. While studying linguistics at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, McCaul took on praise-and-worship leadership roles, eventually settling into a steady post at the city’s Harvest Bible Chapel. Several of her own compositions resonated with the congregation there, circulated through broader worship circles, and ultimately secured her contract with Reunion Records.
