Biography
Rachele Lynae, the country singer, started composing her earliest songs upon turning 12 and had launched performances up and down the West Coast once she reached 17. Although born in California, she grew up in Alaska and credits the compact yet lively local arts community in her Kodiak hometown with fueling much of her initial creative progress. While enrolled at Belmont University, she refined her style by playing shows across Nashville and hitting spots such as the storied Tootsie's Orchid Lounge. In her final undergraduate year she cut a five-track EP that reached country artist and producer Jamie O'Neal. She signed with his recently founded Momentum Music Group imprint in 2012 and issued her debut single, the country-rock celebration number "Party Til the Cows Come Home." Lynae kept partnering with O'Neal to lay down the material for her self-titled first album, which appeared in early 2014.
