Tich

Tich, the British vocalist behind soulful and dance-driven pop, first appeared as Rachel Furner in 1993. Her stage name arose simply from her petite build. Piano lessons began at six, and by thirteen she had already composed and tracked several original pieces that she posted on her MySpace page. An industry executive soon discovered the material and urged her to keep writing and performing. At sixteen she left Northampton for London, determined to devote herself to music without distractions. A brief contract with Mercury Records ended without lasting results, yet by then she possessed the assurance to continue looking for the right label home. The 2012 arrival of The Candle Light EP led directly to a fresh deal with Universal. She reemerged in 2013 with the single "Dumb."
