Biography
In 1992, producer Brinsley Evans joined forces with female vocalist E.V. Mystique to create the New York City house/funk act Uncanny Alliance. Club play for the track "I Got My Education" quickly sparked a bidding war among major labels seeking to sign the duo. A&M ultimately prevailed, issuing the album The Groove Won't Bite in 1994.
