Vicentico

Born Gabriel Julio Fernández Capello on July 24, 1964, in Buenos Aires, Vicentico fronted the globally successful Argentine outfit Los Fabulosos Cadillacs for fifteen years before stepping out on his own. He signed with BMG and opened his solo chapter in 2002 by issuing a self-titled debut album. Two further records appeared in quick succession: Los Rayos in 2004 and Los Pájaros in 2006. The latter project earned a nomination for Best Alternative Music Album at the Latin Grammy Awards in 2007.
