Bersuit Vergarabat

Formed in the late 1980s by vocalist Gustavo Cordera, the Argentinean Latin rock band Bersuit—also known as Bersuit Vergabarat—had first performed under the name Harry y Sus Palangas before the group adopted its present title in May 1989. The debut album Bersuit Vergarabat Y Punto surfaced in 1992, and the follow-up Asquerosa Alegria arrived the next year with Twetty González handling production duties. Guitarist Charly Bianco exited in 1995 and was succeeded by Alberto Valenzuela, leading the lineup to record Don Leopardo one year afterward. Bersuit later signed with Surco, the label established by Gustavo Santaolalla and distributed by Universal, which yielded the releases Libertinaje and Los Hijos Del Culo.
