Biography
Formed by vocalists Fidel Nadalo and Pablo "Dronkit Master," guitarist Horacio Gamexane, bassist Felix Gutierre, and drummer Pablo Potenzoni, the fiercely political Argentine rasta-punk band Todos Tus Muertos confronted genuine grievances through its sound. Taking its name to commemorate the tens of thousands slain by former Argentine dictator Jorge Rafael Videla—"todos tus muertos" translates as "all your dead"—the group signed with a domestic label. After La Banda Elastica, the foremost Latin-rock magazine, named it Best International Group, Todos Tus Muertos attracted worldwide notice and secured a deal with Grita! Records, founded by Jay B. Ziskrout, formerly the drummer for Bad Religion. The band issued Dale Aborigen in early 1997, followed one year later by the live album Argentina Te Asesina.
