Vicki Yohe

Vicki Yoh'e, the singer, songwriter, and worship leader responsible for gospel successes such as "Because of Who You Are," "The Mercy Seat," and "Under the Blood," entered the world in Normal, Illinois, grew up in Rapid City, South Dakota, and passed her teenage years in Hammond, Louisiana. Her first recording arrived in 1992 as a self-titled debut album; two years later she aligned with the major-label imprint Giant for the project I Give You Me. In 2003 she signed with Pure Springs Gospel, the outlet founded by CeCe Winans, and delivered I Just Want You. She next entered the Shanachie roster, which issued her 2009 live set Reveal Your Glory: Live from the Cathedral, and the same company followed with Free Worshipper: A Praise and Worship Experience in 2013.
