Wess Morgan

Wess Morgan, serving as singer, recording artist, pastor, and director, followed a difficult path before discovering his true vocation. As the son of Pastors Joseph and Yolanda Morgan, he grew up journeying across regions while performing gospel alongside his parents and siblings. Substance use and alcohol began at age ten, producing repeated jail terms plus extended periods in recovery centers until he finally escaped the pattern of addiction. His subsequent purpose centered on supporting others who had endured comparable hardships, prompting him to create the Repre Foundation, a nonprofit devoted to drug and alcohol prevention and recovery. He also established Bowtie World Music, a company handling music and film production. The 2007 release of his debut album, Look at Me Now, brought swift acceptance from Christian and gospel audiences and opened opportunities for touring that advanced both the foundation and its mission. Under an Open Heaven arrived as his second album in 2010.
