Biography
In the wake of the Mono Men's 1998 dissolution, guitarist Dave Crider and drummer Aaron joined bassist Chris DeGon and former Maven vocalist Jeff Braimes to launch Watts that same year. Their gritty, 60's-influenced garage rock enabled the band to perform alongside The Hellacopters, The Gimmicks, The Makers, Electric Frankenstein and others before they signed to Estrus Records. The next year Watts moved beyond their Seattle base with the arrival of their debut self-titled album in 1999.
