Zade

Zade Dirani, who performs solely under his given name, trained as a pianist and composer first at Jordan’s National Music Conservatory and later at Berklee College of Music in the United States. A series of house concerts across America helped establish his reputation, after which Sawa issued his debut album Zade in 2003 and it entered the Top Ten of Billboard’s new age chart. Issued May 4, 2004, the follow-up Roads to You blended global influences with the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra and Choir plus additional musicians from various countries, again reaching the new age Top Ten. He next went to Beirut to record his third album Beautiful World, released by Red Feather on May 23, 2006. ZD Records brought out the live set One Night in Jordan—subtitled “A Concert for Peace”—on October 6, 2009; captured with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra on June 19, 2008 in Amman, Jordan, the package also included a home video. In June 2010 he began a U.S. tour.
