Zeeba

Born in the United States yet raised in Brazil, pop singer and songwriter Marcos Zeeba first gained traction playing guitar in the Los Angeles alt-rock outfit Bonavox. Once the group reached the finals of the GRAMMY Amplifier competition, it secured wider attention through multiple prominent live showcases. Zeeba redirected his energies toward a solo songwriting path in 2015, issuing his debut release the next year: the warm, acoustic-centered pop track “Photographs,” credited simply under the surname Zeeba. The five-track So Complicated EP arrived soon afterward, merging bright California textures with British guitar-pop influences. In the first months of 2017 he joined Brazilian pop singer Bruno Martini and EDM producer Alok for a collaborative single whose electronic sheen propelled “Never Let Me Go” to success for all three participants and markedly elevated Zeeba’s visibility.
