Originating from the Netherlands, the electronic production duo DubVision specializes in high-energy progressive house built for dancefloors. Stephan Leicher, born in 1981, and his younger brother Victor Leicher, born in 1989, established the project in 2005. Both siblings took up piano lessons around age seven at their parents’ urging. Victor began exploring electronic production during his teenage years, with Stephan following close behind. Drawing from the sounds of Tiësto, Axwell, and Swedish House Mafia, the brothers released the EP Into White in 2011 under the DubVision name. They soon joined Spinnin’ Records and achieved commercial traction through tracks such as the 2012 single “You & I,” recorded with Project 46 and Donna Lewis; 2013’s “Into the Light,” made with Sander van Doorn, Mako, and Mariana Bell; and 2014’s “Rockin,” which featured Firebeatz. Throughout those years they performed at major festivals, maintained frequent placements in the Beatport Top Ten, and reached the overall Beatport summit with 2014’s “Backlash.” Seeking greater autonomy, they ended their association with Spinnin’ in 2015. Their comeback arrived the next year via the singles “Million Miles,” featuring Denny White, and “Rise.” In 2017 they continued releasing material with “Geht’s Nacht,” “Under the Stars,” and “Yesterday Is Gone,” the last of which included Jonny Rose. Further notable singles appeared in 2018, among them “Steal the Moon” and “Yesterday,” the latter featuring Raiden.
