8TURN

The hyper-sonic fusion of pop, electronic dance music, and hip-hop defines the sound of K-pop boy band 8TURN. Their introduction to the scene came in 2023 via the mini-album 8Turnrise, which was swiftly succeeded by Uncharted Drift. The year 2024 saw their third mini-album, Stunning, climb to the Top Five on the Korean albums charts.

Formed in 2022 under MNH Entertainment in Seoul, South Korea, the octet 8TURN consists of Myungho (main vocalist, main dancer), Jaeyun (leader, main dancer, lead vocalist), Minho (lead vocalist, sisual), Yoonsung (lead dancer, sub-vocalist, visual), Haemin (sub-vocalist, sub rapper), Kyungmin (lead dancer, lead vocalist, sub-rapper, center), Yungyu (main rapper, sub-vocalist), and Seungheon (lead rapper, sub-vocalist, maknae). January 2023 marked the release of their debut mini-album 8Turnrise featuring the track "Tic Tac," which attained the 13th position on the Circle Albums chart. Five months afterward, Uncharted Drift, their second mini-album, brought them back into the Top 20. Their January 2024 offering, the third mini-album Stunning, contained the single "Ru-Pum Pum" and reached number three on the South Korean albums chart.
