Ali Love

Ali Love, a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist drawn to sunlit disco grooves alongside offbeat pop instincts, issued a pair of club-focused tracks through his self-run I Love Records imprint prior to gaining recognition for supplying the lead vocals on the Chemical Brothers’ 2007 track “Do It Again.” Shortly afterward he inked a deal with Columbia, the major label, and put out the shimmering single “Secret Sunday Lover,” which entered the U.K. charts. Shaped by soul, electro textures, the opulent Beach Boys aesthetic, and pop’s more eccentric fringes, his first full-length effort, Love Music, arrived before the year closed.
