Art Tawanghar

Art Tawanghar, a new age musician and composer, integrated electronic production with live instrumentation and diverse cultural influences to develop his distinctive sound centered on relaxation and inner exploration. Independently and via the Majorhit label, he issued the spiritually oriented album Soul of the Earth in 2016. Buddha Lounge arrived the following year as an instrumental collection merging gentle rhythms and synthesizer textures with precisely scored passages for harp, oboe, and further instruments seldom featured in electronic work. The project secured placement on Billboard’s Top Independent Albums chart after release. Tawanghar regularly staged live performances to promote both albums.
