Ashley Kutcher crafts confessional storytelling into hook-laden electro pop. Fresh from finishing her nursing degree, the Baltimore pop sensation saw her single "Love You from a Distance" surge as a streaming hit. Already a social media star, she had built a sizeable online following through her early singles "Lust" and "Hands to Myself." The single’s arrival and strong reception secured her a deal with Interscope imprint Darkroom, which issued her debut EP, One Eighty, in 2021. Building on that momentum, she issued her sophomore EP, Survive My Own Mind, in 2022, exploring themes of heartache and mental health. Throughout 2023 she remained active, dropping further streaming hits such as "Boy from Carolina" and "Matchbox."
