Biography
Astr, the New York City electronic duo, crafts edgy experimental tracks aimed at the dance floor while fusing atmospheric pop textures with soulful R&B. The pair came together in 2013, uniting vocalist Zoe Silverman with producer Adam Pallin. Their profile rose after a series of well-received performances at the 2013 CMJ festival together with the release of two singles, “Operate” and “Razor,” through Tommy Boy. The debut EP Varsity then appeared in 2014 on Neon Gold.
