Biography
Hailing from Dover, Delaware, the versatile and energetic four-piece Awake at Last fuses heavy metal, hardcore, post-grunge, electronica, and hard rock into a propulsive melodic style supported by lyrics focused on positivity and spirituality.
Formed in the early 2010s, the band eventually locked in its roster of vocalist Vincent Torres, drummer Jon Finney, and guitarists Eric Blackway and Imran Xhelili. Their first release arrived as the 2014 EP King of the World, with the standalone singles "Questions" and "Never Be a Memory" appearing in 2015 and 2016. Notable live dates with Ice Nine Kills, Adelitas Way, and Famous Last Words paved the way for the full-length debut Change in 2019.
