Dead Girls Academy

In the wake of disbanding Vampires Everywhere! during 2016, frontman Michael "Vampire" Orlando launched a new group called Dead Girls Academy, which blended post-hardcore and alternative metal elements. Compared to the prior outfit's spooky occult shock-rock approach, this project gravitated more toward post-hardcore and punk influences, all while preserving Orlando's signature dark and dramatic style. Following the conclusion of Vampires Everywhere!, Orlando collaborated in the studio alongside Ronnie Radke of Falling in Reverse and producer Michael "Elvis" Baskette, whose credits include Falling in Reverse, the Amity Affliction, and blessthefall, to develop material for the new endeavor. The band's debut single "I'll Find a Way" emerged in 2017, soon leading to supporting tours alongside Motionless in White, Issues, and Falling in Reverse. Securing a deal with Victory Records, Orlando proceeded to compose tracks for a complete album. Ahead of the 2018 Warped Tour's commencement, Dead Girls Academy issued the singles "No Way Out" and "Everything," both taken from their inaugural full-length release, Alchemy.
