Biography
The New Orleans-based pair Baby Bee crafts music blending soulful textures with blues and rock influences. Brothers Joe Stark on vocals and guitar alongside David Stark on drums formed the duo in 2010. Raised as the offspring of local musicians, they had collaborated intermittently on music since childhood. Their first independent album, Drop It Like a Bomb, arrived in 2011. Republic Records discovered them the following year, offered a contract, and dispatched the pair to Nashville to cut the four-song EP The Shaker with Brendan O'Brien.
