Biography
While employed as an entertainer on a cruise liner traversing Northern Europe, Belgian Bart Herman was discovered amid a layover in Brussels. For the following twenty years he maintained a dual focus on his recording output and pursuits in television along with theatrical work. Merging rock & roll classics alongside Tex-Mex, Latin pop, and easy listening sounds enabled him to land an initial success in 1993 through the track "Ik Ga Dood Aan Jou," in addition to attaining his best album ranking eight years later via Verzameld (No.4). Along with issuing eleven albums, Herman has hosted De Drie Wijzen together with Kriebels and portrayed Pontius Pilate within Jesus Christ Superstar.
