Biography
Born on August 7, 1962, in Quebec, vocalist Bruno Pelletier launched his musical path during the early 1980s by joining the bands Amanite and Sneak Preview. Intent on leaving English-language performances behind, he shifted to the Francophone group Pëll. Participation in contests soon followed, leading to a part in a musical production. His first record, Bruno Pelletier, appeared in 1992 while he maintained commitments to musical theater. Three more years passed before the next album emerged, yet he stayed active with shows at Les FrancoFolies and Starmania. Further albums and performances marked the years ahead, including the arrival of his debut live album in 2001 and the sixth studio release, Un Monde a l'Envers, in 2002. Engagements with the Symphonic Orchestra of Montreal took shape as well, alongside securing the lead role in a musical version of Dracula, all while earning numerous awards for singing and acting across his career.
