Biography
Originally performing as Broken Hearts, the Italian pop group Cattivi Pensieri recorded its debut album Non Siamo Facili under that earlier name. The ensemble adopted its present title before releasing the follow-up Cattivi Pensieri, a phrase denoting bad thoughts drawn from the difficulties encountered during its initial years in the music industry. Fronted by Milan native Cinzia Farolfi, the five-piece act appeared at the 1997 San Remo Festival with the song “Quello Che Sento” and issued the album La Scatola the same year. Cattivi Pensieri took part in the Radiothon, a charitable marathon aimed at combating AIDS, in January 1998, then toured Europe that summer as its popularity spread across the continent.
