Biography
Children 18:3 launched in 1999 as a ska outfit before shifting to Christian punk in 2001, when the group downsized from five members to a pop-leaning power trio of siblings David, Lee Marie, and Seth Hostetter. The Minnesota act refined that sound through regional gigs and issued two EPs, Places I Don't Want to Go in 2004 and Songs of Desperation in 2006. Signing with Tooth & Nail in 2008 brought the release of the band's self-titled debut full-length later that year. Momentum grew in the Christian music scene as tours with Norma Jean and Haste the Day preceded the sophomore album Rain's 'a Comin' in 2010. Two years later, the third LP, Billboard-charting On the Run, appeared in 2012.
