Chunk! No, Captain Chunk!

Chunk! No, Captain Chunk! was assembled in Paris in 2007 by vocalist Bertrand Poncet, drummer Jonathan Donnaes, bassist Mathias Rigal, and guitarists Paul Wilson and Éric Poncet. The Parisian emo-punk-metal outfit derived its name from a line in Richard Donner's hit 1985 adventure-comedy The Goonies. Its sound merges hook-laden pop-punk with ferocious hardcore, echoing the approach of A Day to Remember, the Wonder Years, and Attack Attack!. The self-produced debut Something for Nothing appeared in 2009 and secured a deal with Fearless, which reissued the album in 2011 and released the sophomore set Pardon My French two years later. After prolonged touring that featured the amicable exit of Donnaes, the third studio album Get Lost, Find Yourself surfaced in 2015.
