Biography
Formed during 2007 in St. Cloud, Minnesota, For All Those Sleeping fused the bright, emotionally charged energy of pop-punk with the intensity of metalcore, shaping a distinctive hybrid style. The group’s lineup featured vocalist Mike Champa alongside guitarists and vocalists Jerad Pierskalla and David Volgman-Stevens, drummer Ethan Trekell—all of whom first connected during high school—and bassist London Snetsinger, who came aboard in 2009. Their music balanced soaring melodic hooks with sudden, aggressive breakdowns. Following the independent release of The Lies We Live EP in 2008, Fearless Records took notice and added the band to its roster the next year. The label then issued the debut full-length Cross Your Fingers in 2010, which was succeeded two years later by Outspoken. Their third album, Incomplete Me, surfaced in July 2014 on the heels of the aggressive lead single “Crosses.” The record reached a strong position on the U.S. album chart, yet the ensemble dissolved before the year closed, wrapping up their run with final performances in Minnesota and Fargo, North Dakota.
