Confide

South Gate, California-based metalcore outfit Confide initially came together as a deathcore act in 2004 before channeling their sound into searing post-hardcore laced with CCM, electro, and screamo-pop accents. After delivering the EPs Innocence Surround in 2005 and Introduction in 2006, the band unveiled its debut long-player, Shout the Truth, via Science Records, a Warner Bros. imprint, in 2008; the album was later re-recorded and reissued the following year on Tragic Hero, the North Carolina hardcore punk label. Their sophomore effort, the well-received Recover, surfaced through Tragic Hero in 2010, though an exhausting touring schedule led the group to disband soon afterward. The members re-formed in 2012 and turned to Kickstarter to finance a third studio album, which emerged as the independently released All Is Calm in 2013.
