Outline In Color

Hailing from Tulsa, Oklahoma, the screamo group Outline in Color assembled in 2010 after several like-minded local bands dissolved. Their aggressive approach fuses breakdown-heavy electro-metalcore with soaring, melodic post-hardcore, executed by a potent six-piece lineup that includes guitarists Forrest Mankins and See Jay Cochran, bassist Michael Skaggs, drummer Austin McFerrin, clean vocalist K.C. Simonsen, and screamer Trevor Tatro. A self-titled EP surfaced in 2010, followed two years later by the full-length Jury of Wolves, which reached listeners after a successful Kickstarter campaign. Standby Records then released Masks in 2014. The band’s third album, Struggle, appeared in 2016 and reflected heightened aggression alongside sharper attention to its lyrics.
