Biography
My Ticket Home emerged from Columbus, Ohio, as a ferocious post-hardcore outfit whose volatile mix of metalcore, nu-metal, and hardcore punk elements earned the group’s own label of “puke rock” while summoning echoes of Avenged Sevenfold, Korn, and Attack Attack!. The ensemble came together in 2008 and issued two early EPs—Above the Great City in 2009 and The Opportunity to Be in 2010—before issuing its first full-length album, the Billboard-charting To Create a Cure, through Rise Records in 2012. Strangers Only, co-produced by Will Putney, followed the next year, and in 2017 the band signed with Spinefarm Records to deliver its third studio album, UnReal.
