Biography
Formed in Brescia during 2007, Upon This Dawning emerged as a decibel-crunching Italian metalcore outfit. The group drew influence from acts such as The Devil Wears Prada, Underoath, and Oh, Sleeper. Centered on the abilities of vocalist Giani Molinari, guitarist Matteo Botticini, bass player Matteo Leone, keyboardist Andrea Moserle, and drummer Gabriele Magrini, this intense six-piece outfit put out its first EP, Count the Seconds Until Your Last Breath, inside Italy that same year. Securing a contract with Fearless Records later on, the band delivered its initial full-length album, To Keep Us Safe, in 2012. Its second album for the label, We Are All Sinners, arrived in 2014 and introduced vocalist Daniele Nelli as a new member.
