Biography
Hailing from Ukraine, Make Me Famous merges metalcore and emo to produce a striking stylistic juxtaposition. Denis Shaforostov’s melodic delivery contrasts with Serj Kravchenko’s guttural roars, while electronic programming threads pop sensibilities through the band’s post-hardcore foundation and metallic intensity. Shaforostov first gained notice in 2011 by posting cover songs on YouTube, leading him to enlist bassist Sergei Hohlov for original work. Drummer Dusty Boles, guitarist Igor Yastrebov, and second vocalist Kravchenko completed the lineup, and the group issued its debut full-length, It's Now or Never, in spring 2012.
