Biography
Brandyn Burnette and Molly Moore launched Cosmos & Creature in 2014 after each had already established an independent presence on the west coast pop circuit. The Los Angeles-based pair operates as an ebullient indie electro-pop duo. Before forming the project, Burnette completed a four-year stint on Warner Bros., where his solo output was accompanied by songwriting contributions that included a Juno Award-winning number one hit for Canadian pop/rockers Hedley and a U.S. Top 40 single for pop-rapper Jake Miller. Moore likewise built a solo career and had recently served as co-writer with Lea Michele. The duo first drew notice in 2016 via the singles “Young” and “Bright Side,” the latter a collaboration with Dutch DJ-and-production-duo Vicetone. “Bad Drug,” positioned as the lead single from their forthcoming debut EP, arrived in 2017, followed in 2018 by the second single “I Am Free.”
