As Lostboycrow, Chris Blair blends R&B, pop, and electronic elements into soulful, fluid tracks. His genre-blending approach first gained traction through streaming successes like the 2016 single "Powers," then expanded with greater ambition across the Traveler EP trilogy before culminating in the 2019 album Santa Fe.

Raised in the Pacific Northwest, Blair balanced athletic pursuits with musical interests, participating in his high school choir while absorbing pop-punk, screamo, and classic rock. Family trips also introduced him to the Crow Indians of Montana, sparking a lasting fascination with their traditions. He channeled these varied influences into the Lostboycrow project during the early 2010s and relocated to Los Angeles in 2014. There he connected with Flor bassist and producer Dylan William, who emerged as a key creative partner. Blair issued his debut track, "Adolescent," in December 2014, followed by additional singles such as "HiyHiy," "Start Something," and "Say You Want Me."

In 2016 Lostboycrow unveiled the debut EP Sigh for Me, which spotlighted two standout cuts: "Powers" and the Skizzy Mars collaboration "The Lost Boy." That same year brought "Where It All Goes," helmed by William, along with "Stay a Little Longer." Blair compiled an array of material that surfaced across three successive EPs. Traveler: The First Legend appeared in May 2017 and contained the streaming favorites "Real Name" and the Romeo and Juliet-inspired "Verona." Traveler: The Second Legend followed in October, with the trilogy wrapping in early 2018 via Traveler: The Third Legend, which featured production from William and his Flor bandmate Zach Grace. Early that year Blair and a tight circle of collaborators retreated to an Airbnb in New Mexico to record Lostboycrow’s first full-length. The spontaneous sessions amid desert surroundings shaped Santa Fe, released in early 2019 on Red Music/Sony.
